Ah, I don't know what turtle they are talking about, they can have some gas exchange in the skin on the legs, arms, tail, and head. No turtle does that though.

I have one to add:

The European explorers found new drugs when they traveled East and new drugs when they traveled West.

The meeting of the Old World with the New stands as the most crucial drug exchange in recorded history. The explorations begun by Columbus discovered, among other resources, cocaine from South America, hallucinogens from Central America and tobacco from North America. These drugs were brought back to European courts and received with as much relish as parrots, gold and furs. The drug exchange became complete when the Europeans introduced into the Americans distilled alcoholic beverages and, in Chile in 1545, cannabis from Asia.

I have also heard that New World explorers mistakingly brought back tobacco instead of the intended cannabis plant (that the Native Americans possessed). Imagine if they had brought back cannabis instead of tobacco... :ponder:

I'm not sure this one is true. I have heard that is comes from the phrase:

For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

it was Pepsi who made it... it was called "Cyrstal Clear Pepsi" (gee i wonder where they got that name from?) it was on the market for less the a year in the early 90's in the "clear" soda (or pop depending on what you call it...) craze... which of course... did end. Personally, I loved the stuff and wish they'd come back with it.
