Just before holidays Dell is scheduled to come out with a new line of LCD monitors, the flagship being the 3007WFP (not a typo) 30" LCD. Here are the specs from Dell pre-release techsheet Display Size: 30 inch Response Time: 14ms Brightness: 400cd/m2 Contrast: 700:1 Viewing Angle: 178/178 Native Resolution: WQXGA (2560 x 1600) PC Connectivity: DVI-D (Dual link) x 1 with HDCP Others: 4-Port USB Hub, 9-in-1 Multimedia Card Reader/Slots, Height Adjustable Stand, Swivel & Tilt. (No pivot) Release for North America is scheduled for December 21

I'm so glad that I held off on buying a LCD Monitor. Still I probably won't be able to afford this until next year.

Looks nice. Will there be smaller versions like 20" wide, 24" wide etc.?

Nice monitor. Probably a $1000 price tag. I have the 2001FP, but that is one sweet monitor.

I'm thinking it's going to be about 1800 dollars. I just got a 24 inch Dell LCD and I hope it will cost that much so I know I did not make a big mistake. Got mine for $750.

i agree somewhere around 1400-1800
the 2405fpw itself is 1199 retail. im sure will be able to get the 30 inch lower with coupons. im getting new monitors in feb so i might pick this up.
