Hong Kong police arresting people because of porn in computer

Recommended Posts

Hong Kong, the so-called international city, is now arresting normal citizens because of porn. The police arrested at least 8 people just because they keep the porn photos in computer. The whole story started about the leak of celebrities nude photos.

The Hong Kong celebrity, Edison Chen, took some photos of himself and actress while having sex. There are many actress involved. Those photos are leaked on the internet and spread quickly. The manager of celebrities asked police to arrest people.

Hong Kong police arrested few people after few days. But those people are NOT the one to publish the naked photos, they are just normal citizen who have some porn photos. Sources said they will be detained those normal person for more than 8 weeks without any reason.

It is no doubt there are thousands of people who have porn photos in their computer. The police representative said they will arrest people who have porn photos in their computers in local newspapers. This means no one in Hong Kong should keep any kind of nude photos or videos in their computers since police reserve the right to arrest you.

This is so amazing to see this international city without porn.

I have absolutely NO PORN on my computer. So that Generalization doesnt fit EVERYONE in this country.

Also, Im straight if your gonna jump into the "then you must be gay" comment.

So please, fix your statement. It would be Almost everyone or most would be jailed.

Thank you very much.

Cheers.

I don't really think the word "everyone" should be taken so literally, I'm sure you've said "everyone does [something]" at some point in a sentence without actually meaning everyone. It's just easier than saying the majority, which in this case does apply.

Ah, so you keep yours on DVD ;)

DVD is only 8Gb, he uses BD.

DVDs are for punks.

Real men print out their porn pics.

Nerds open their porn movies in VirtualDUB, save every 30th image... and then prints them.

    • All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....
    • It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before you try to pass someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.

    • There really isn't anything magical about the low latency profile, other OS's do this as well. All they're doing is using your CPUs boost clock options in a more smarter way.
    • So we shouldn't have the option because of people using their laptops on battery? OK? LOL
