help - would like to fix these photo's..

Hi All,

I have lots of photo's like the two examples below and I need to try and fix them, I have tried healing tools but its very slow and doesnt always do the job.

Is there any app, filter or trick i can use to get rid of all of the diagonal lines ?

maybe Magic-Wind the diagnol lines and fill in with the surrounding colors

I'm not a specialist, but there are a lot of tutorials on the net. Try this google search:

Hmm... difficult. You may be able to make the striping effect less noticeable by darkening the images and playing with overlay layers.

Something like this:
