Faces of Death

Cannibal Holocaust (mostly for the animal cruelty though)

August Undeground.

Of these three I only saw a Faces of Death flick. The rest only trailers,it's nothing worth watching...maybe curiosity.Saw or Hostel series ain't got nothing on these,FFS. :)

I haven't seen the first one but you seem to be compiling a list of things to get:

Men Behind The Sun - Good luck getting hold of it as it's import only. Not seen it and judging by things I've read about it - not really wanting to either.

Ichi the killer

Old Boy

and many more asian films!

Absolutely disturbing and devastating film., 17 February 2004

T.F.Mous' 1987 film "Man Behind the Sun" has to be one of the most disturbing and unpleasant movies ever made. It tells us about the atrocities committed by Japanese scientist during the Second World War in China. The acting is pretty good and I think that some of the actors did an outstanding job.The film offers also some of the most revolting gore I have ever seen. Some scenes are truly sickening for example a man is put into decompression chamber and the pressure is steadily increased until he shoots intestines out of his anus-actually Mous used a real corpse to make this scene. There is also incredibly graphic autopsy of a young mute boy-a real cadaver was used for this sequence as well. The scene where a real cat is attacked and consumed by literally thousands of starving rats is incredibly vile and unnecessary.Overall,"Man Behind the Sun" is pretty hard to find, but if you liked "Cannibal Holocaust" or "Bunman:The Untold Story",then give it a look. However fans of cute American horror should avoid it like the plague!

I also have to add I've seen a man slow beheaded. Seeing him in agonizing pain & begging for his life, it's probably the worst thing I've ever seen.

That's not a movie,that's websh*t.

Sure it beats any movie...but doubt it was the point of the thread.

Audition was quite disturbing, if only because of the atmosphere and the mood preceding and during the scene. Hostel II was more funny than disturbing. I dropped dead laughing at the end when the kids started playing football. Such a bad movie.

can't remember the "most" sadistic. but I just saw one on tv the other day that was pretty gruesome in scenes.. The cutting off of the head of a gangster in the barber shop...they didn't hide anything....it reminded me of the gruesome terrorist ones with kidnapped people in Iraq.

the movie "Eastern Promises"
