The most sadistic movie(s) you've ever seen

Hostel: Part II was nothing compared to the first one. I love the Hostel films, don't get me wrong, I also love the Saw franchise ( :hump: ) but Part II was really tame, actually more lame compared to the first one. Roth tried to much comedy that fell flat IMO.

My favorite part of the first Hostel is where The Dutch Businessman cuts Oli's Achilles? heel. That was an awesome scene. I'll never forget that.

Oh yeah I now picture i:|:|

That made me cringe especially when he tried to walk!

Oh I completely forgot about that film. The ten minute long rape scene is enough to make it hands down the winner of most sadistic film ever :pinch:

That and the fire extinguisher scene = :pinch:

Salo

Sal? o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (Sal? or the 120 Days of Sodom) is a 1975 film written and directed by Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini with uncredited writing contributions by Pupi Avati[1][2]. It is based on the book The 120 Days of Sodom by the Marquis de Sade.

Because of its scenes of intensely sadistic graphic violence, the movie was extremely controversial upon its release, and remains banned in several countries to this day. It was Pasolini's last film; he was murdered shortly before Sal? was released.

The story depicts the many days at the palace, during which the four men of power devise increasingly abhorrent tortures and humiliations for their own pleasure. A most infamous scene, shows a young woman forced to eat the feces of the Duke; later, the other victims are presented a giant meal of human feces. At story's end, the victims who chose to not collaborate with their fascist tormentors are gruesomely murdered: scalping, branding, tongue and eyes cut out; (see Franco Merli). The viewer is distanced from the grossest tortures, because they are viewed through binoculars. The story's final scene ? two young, macho soldiers dancing a waltz, together ? embodies Pasolini's vision of life and death: unflinching, dispassionate, yet, humane and (paradoxically) impassioned.

Huh? Is it just me or does no one else realise that recommending/watching these "sick" films is NOT a good idea. It's like listening to a bunch of hillbillies going "Duh, look at this Ernie... This has a twelve minute rape scene!", "That's nothing Bud, I have a movie with a 15 minute rape scene AND he sh*t in her mouth - mine is much better!"

This is stupidity piled upon stupidity from all those who deny the freaking obvious - what goes into your (often tiny) minds HAS AN EFFECT. To actually encourage each other as to who can "out-do" the other in who's watched the most "shocking" or "sadistic" "movies" is quite possibly one of the dumbest things you can inflict upon your own minds. Smoking is healthier.

These are not "horror" movies or "art" these are the results of quite literally sick, twisted, dis-eased and depraved minds. It's not something to be admired, but something, in truth, to be repulsed and at worst ignored. Wake up!

Denial on this topic is MASSIVE.... To quote the review of Irreversible from one of the links in this post:

".... Irreversible is not a film that you will easily forget."

" Rarely has a title been so appropriate; once you have seen this film, you cannot un-see it, and its effect on your will be forever Irreversible. "

"Duh, Ernie, I think I'll watch THAT film.... What do you mean why? It's COOL dude!"

Also...

"....Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Salo, or 120 Days of Sodom is also one of the most disturbing and (dare we say) damaging. There are very few films that, upon viewing, will have us running to the showers to try and scrub ourselves clean. This is one of those films."

Dare we say? Why is it such a tough thing to admit/accept?.... This stuff is so staggeringly and obviously damaging it should never have been MADE in the first place.

Oh please, save us the speech.

Maybe you don't like horror films, that fine, that's your right, but don't dare judge those of us who do. I'm a huge fan of horror, have been since I was a little kid and I turned out fine (other than the constant urge to drink blood, but that's beside the point :p ).

If you don't like horror films, don't watch them, but for me and my dark passenger, we will always love them and will continue to watch them all the days of our lives.

Admittedly I stopped after 5 pages, ut I'm seeing some pretty tame movies...

IMHO Suicide Club is the only movie that has really creeped me out. At one point I felt like fainting (thankfully didn't because I was with some friends when watching it the first time and would never have lived it down.
