The most sadistic movie(s) you've ever seen

Please seek help. You are clearly psychologically damaged. I am not joking.

I'll give you the fact that you said it's PROBABLY the worst thing you've ever seen (which quite frankly is a worrying statement in itself). But still, why would a sane, non-sociopathic/psychotic person even consider watching this?

Calling someone a sociopath/psychopath for watching an extremely violent video is a little... extreme. Some people have a stronger threshold for violence, and can satisfy a morbid curiosity. I am personally quite intrigued by these films, but for the most part I cannot stomach them.

I saw the trailer for philosophy of a knife... that was enough for me :x . Back to Bambi.

I can't believe some of you guys watched movies like Man Behind the Sun. Just reading the user description of the movie on imdb.com made me sick.

I just can't watch pure evil torture, even if it is acting.

meh, I even watched Hostel 1 and 2 during 11 am - 3 pm when the sun is shining brightly in my room. :shiftyninja:

You are all sick. :x

I'm pretty sure nothing beats Saw IV.

Are you serious? Some of these movies mentioned are so disturbing, so sick, so gruesome, and so sadistic that they would never make it to theater or pushed for a widespread release. Saw IV is incomparable to what's out there.

I've seen the first but not the second. It's so bad, I consider it a comedy more than a horror. :p

I have no clue, as I've never seen any of these movies. But Saw IV was pretty damn disturbing, like 10x as bad as any other Saw.

All Saw movies were childish compared to Hostel 1 and 2.

Reading about Man behind the sun makes Hostel childish.

Hostel 1 was graphic, Hostel 2 I thought was tame (except for the manhood removal bit!)

I just can't believe people are throwing out the names of Hollywood crap as sadistic. I enjoyed Hostel and the Saw movies, but they've got nothing on some of the movies mentioned in this thread.

Expand your horizons beyond the American cinema and you'll see some stuff that is truly sadistic.

My Netflix queue got quite a bit longer thanks to this thread! :) I'm a huge fan of horror, and the more disturbing the better.

I've seen Cannibal Holocaust. I thought it was well-filmed and had a good plot, but the "gore" was really badly done and I just couldn't get too involved in it. I'm a hunter, so the animal "cruelty" didn't bother me that much, although doing it just for a film is not right.

And I do agree that A Clockwork Orange is one of the most disturbing and sadistic films I've ever seen. I can't hear the song "Singin' In The Rain" without remembering the rape scene.

Most sadistic soul rotting movie ever? Tras el cristal (1987) In A Glass Cage

A buddy of mine, who is a movie fanatic, has said this is the most disturbing film he has yet to see and he has seen it all.

His wife has tried numerous times to sit thru it, but .....it basically empties you.

I refuse to watch it, but thought I mention it for those looking for such things otherwise.

Oh yea, still banned in some countries.

Hostel: Part II was nothing compared to the first one. I love the Hostel films, don't get me wrong, I also love the Saw franchise ( :hump: ) but Part II was really tame, actually more lame compared to the first one. Roth tried to much comedy that fell flat IMO.

My favorite part of the first Hostel is where The Dutch Businessman cuts Oli's Achilles? heel. That was an awesome scene. I'll never forget that.
