[PIC] Obama's first presidental Decision

that would be all sorts of factually wrong as theres only so much the president can change about the white house. some changes he would have to get congressional approval for. so painting the whole white house black would be completely out of the realm of possibility

just a joke dude! Relax...

funny!

How immature and racist is this, just because hes black he would want to paint the Whitehouse black??

Am i missing something?

Yes, you are infact missing the definition of racism...

Racism, by its simplest definition, is the belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

Association of the colour of someones skin is hardly racist until attributed to something derogatory or unjust negativity. I don't think this light-hearted attempt at humour can be misconstrued as racist!

In this case, the joke is highly topical since he is indeed the first black president of the United States.

I understand all of the arguments about it, but racism or any other bigotry has no place in our society, or on this board. It is demeaning, mean spirited, and tasteless. That applies to any and all people who suffer from it, regardless if it is about race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender. It is just plain wrong... (N)
