Elliot B.
This Samsung Mesmerize (USCC's Galaxy S) (Android 2.2) keeps losing the time, date and Wi-Fi settings when the phone is rebooted. Any ideas why? EDIT: We keep it on Airplane mode (as it's currently in the UK and we don't want roaming charges). That possibly explains the Wi-Fi needing to be reconnected upon reboot (the phone remembers the passcode - it just needs re-enabling) but doesn't really explain the time issue. I had the same issue, but it wasn't as frequent as yours. It just lost the Wi-fi settings a few times over the course of a month. I recently upgraded to 2.3.3 and everything seems way better and no issues so far.
Jason Smally
My Blackberry Bold 9000 had that issue. This is probably an issue I would contact customer service about. Speaking from experience, it is way too annoying to enter all the information over and over again, every time you reboot your phone.

To make things worse, there isn't a very active Mesmerize modding community, so we're kind of stuck there, too.

Mine has never done this and I don't know anyone having this issue with their GS phones.
