If price is not a problem, the Galaxy S II hands down. The Nexus S is great but it like a generation older, so to speak.

Then again if you can get the Nexus S cheaper enough it might be worth getting one instead of the S II. It's not as good as the S II but it's still an excellent smartphone and you'll get vanilla OS updates straight from Google.

If you are buying the phone outright Nexus S might be a better solution as it is about $400 now on Amazon. Unlocked and all.

S2 though it much more advanced phone. It's the next gen compared to Nexus S.

I just picked up S2 for myself personally from here: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16875176292

Ha.. I bought the last one.

galaxy s 2 no doubt, got it myself and it's worth it.

the lack of nfc is disappointing but can probably add it at later date with the whole sticker thing.

Reviewing Samsung Galaxy SII from Samsung at the moment :) Love the phone - fast, sleek, slim, high quality display, etc. You won't regret it assuming you love the Android OS, of course

I've been using SGSII for few weeks now, pretty much the only downside it has is its price. Even with that the phone is pretty damn awesome :)

I can get the Nexus S for $350 vs the Galaxy S 2 for $625 (lowest offered price). Damn just killing me right now, i keep turning down the Nexus S just because the Galaxy S 2 is so close but gotta stomach the price!

the SGS II is the best android device currently available.

Without question, that should be your choice if you can swing the price.

I bought it at $750 and I don't regret it for a second.

If you buy a SGS II from europe (imported, unlocked/unbranded) you will not be locked into a 2 year contract, and your phone will run on faster speeds with HSPA+ than the HSPA+ phones att sells in store (because they throttle in the firmware) AND will be able to do teathering without paying the extra charge per month to turn it on for a phone bought from att.

So you can go ahead and buy now.

next week??? is it coming next week?

Likely talking about importing it for the reasons listed above. Its really a no brainer if you can afford it.
