That's good if you want a picture, probably the same one you have set as the desktop wallpaper I bet, that'd make it feel better to many people i think. If/when we can easily set a image or have it be the same image between the two UI's then the transition into the start screen will feel smoother and less of a surprise. It'd be kinda like OSX's new Launch Pad or the big app launcher that pops up in GNOME3/Unity, except with tiles instead of big icons and a list.

I think it'd look 10x better with not only a background but glass tiles (if that's possible).

would be nice that instead of purple/green or pink, were transparent or translucent. The interface its pretty annoying by itself.

All files are located in shsxs.dll. There's also some stuff in twinui.dll. Going through them all is going to take some time.

Got this after messing with twin: http://i.cubeupload.com/l9atic.png

hey, how did you pin desktop IE10 to the start page? I couldn`t do that here. :(

This.... launchpad's thing is pretty slick and this would help.

As easy as install another browser and associate HTML files to that browser. But then you won't see Metro IE anymore.

Could you release your version too please. As Hounsell only seems to be releasing the light-blue version which looks horrible IMO. I prefer the purple.

Here's a final shot (colored tiles and flyouts): http://thepanda-x.de...t.com/#/d49wzsg

By the way it also colorizes the logon screen.

Nice progress! :D But now I'm curious, does it only change the color of the green "icon band" or removes it entirely so it's usable with custom backgrounds?

Would love to see this released and possibly a dark blue version (would feel more native to windows to have a darker blue color).

Red: 5
Green: 60
Blue: 150

To me that seems like a nice, smooth yet native feeling color for Windows. :)
