Mobile Broadband Features

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Does anyone know if this feature are available in Windows Consumer Preview?

I mean, to get control over my internet connection, know how much i've downloaded, etc...

I saw this a few weeks ago, dunno where, but it's no longer like that here on WCP, at least i don't find it...

Another thing is, that i can't use Weather app, for example, and i assume it's because of broadband connections... it keep me saying that im not connected to internet.. does anybody have the same problem?

Right click on the entry in the network list and click "Show estimated data usage". The entry for the network adapters are located in the Metro control panel. if you select the Settings charm, a "More PC Settings" is located at the bottom.

Which mobile broadband adapter are you using?

By clicking in the network list i only have "Status" and "Propreties". At the "More PC Settings" i also only find this, in the devices menu:

Already put it On but it keeps the same, dunno if this is something to do with it though.

I'm using a Huawei E1750.

Thanks.

Unfortunately the Mobile broadband feature requires a device that supports the Mobile broadband device model introduced in Windows 7. Does the E1750 have a phone icon in the network selection dialog?
