Apple's App Store 25 billionth app downloaded

Recommended Posts

Only Apple counts this crap.

What's really pathetic about that whole thing is that they gave away $10k in app store money LOL.

They are sitting on $100 billion and they can't give away like $10-$20k in hardware to one lucky app user but they give them app store money again.

Sigh, so petty, greedy and sad. I'm so glad I'm not giving them any more money. When they are so pathetic.

So you are in the anger stage, only 3 more to go.

There is no anger. I am actually starting to pitty Apple users. This only means that Apple doesn't give 2 craps about it's users to reward something as big as this but goes and gives you an app store gift card so the money comes back to them.

It's sad really.

They are indirectly rewarding developers, not themselves.

And only Apple-haters who belong to the Cult of Android (see, the cult joke works both ways) will say such things, and then turn a blind eye when the Cardinals from Google announce things like number of Android devices activated per day, number of apps in the Android market, and number of apps downloaded from said market.

Nah, let's continue to ignore that so it looks like you have a point. Yeah, Apple is making a huge deal about it, but again, the thing you're a fan of does too. Sorry.

And it's Apple's promotion, they can do as they please. I mean, they don't have to give anything to anyone when they reach a milestone sale. A lot of stores reward their millionth...billionth customer. It's only the people who feel entitled that think that one deserved more than whatever it is they're giving away.

Seems like anger to me, but I'm glad you're starting to pity yourself...

    • Depends on what you need. Might be a bit clearer on what you plan to do with it. Sort of a waste if you get the newest and greatest, but don't know how to use it.

    • Ah. La Fontana De Incontinentia ! Bella ! Bella !
    • Hi everyone, I'm planning a small network upgrade and was wondering how others prepare their networks for future needs. Do you usually invest in higher-speed switches and better cabling from the start, or do you upgrade only when necessary? I'd be interested in hearing what has worked well for you and any lessons you've learned over time. Thanks!
