Windows 7 booting with Windows Vista bootloader?

Recommended Posts

yeah weird.,

Anyway the bootloader is using the same screen as it does when it first boots the system (you know when Installing windows 7?) ., or it's exactly the same as the Vista boot screen.

Yet I just installed Windows 7 Professional so yeah I found it rather weird.

Just asking, why would it do that., and is there any way I can just make it do the Windows 7 bootscreen without installing extra stuff.

If so, you can find the solution here

I have the same problem, except that I'm running Windows 8 RP.

PC boots with Vista boot loader. :/

If you multiboot, the PC will default to the latest-installed bootloader; also the bootloaders in Vista, 7, and 8RP are, in fact, little different - the Consumer Preview, with it's default mouseable bootloader, is the real game-changer.

Where i'm curious is why did the Release Preview drop the mouse-able loader as the default.
