Can I post an image from my local HD in a thread post, or does it have to be on a website?

Not a newbie here, but I can't seem to do this. Ergo, I'm a noob at it.

Click on More Reply Options underneath the text box. Then towards the bottom of the page you'll see the ability to add Attachments...

sure you can post an image from your hard-drive, look for the attachment button in "more reply options"
