Serum cholesterol in me stays around 120-140 no matter what I eat, and my hdl/ldl ratio etc. are normal. My doctor is very jealous because he has a hard time staying under 250. Still, being a diabetic I have to watch my carbs etc.

Bottom line: genes count for a lot.
