Any recommendations for a good monitor or a HDTV to connect to a new dell desktop ?

I've purchased some of these in the past. Fantastic screen quality. I don't know too much about screen technologies apart from the differences between LCD, LED etc...

IMO, LG is better than HannsG. I never owned one, but I knew them to be a little lower grade than the others.

I know of only one buddy of mine that has an LG monitor, but he's never complained about it and it's always looked good enough to me. After all, LG is on the forefront of screen technologies these days, so if you are getting their monitor on a budget, it should be safe enough =)
