IRC having issues?

weird, I just tested and I'm able to get on just fine on my nexus tablet

I have no problems using hexchat at all.

i think it's just a problem with my computer. I need to get around to reformatting it, it's got some issues here and there

still can't figure it out. I can get on the irc just fine on my Android tablet, and i can get on other irc networks just fine with hex chat, but when i try to get on neowin I only can get this far

Odd, have you tried to remove the Neowin profile and create a new one in hexchat?

That's strange. Maybe try uninstalling it completely.

i use xchat which is basically hexchat and it works fine

has it ever worked?

I would trying reinstalling Xchat

could firewall be blocking the actual program?

no because like i said, i can connect to other IRC servers just fine, I only have problems connecting to Neowin's
