Obi-Wan Kenobi
I saw a box on ebay going for ten million US Dollars. Never thought I'd ever see that! Now there's one for 15 Million! Guess I was in the wrong business all along, lol! http://www.ebay.com/itm/HOSTESS-TWINKIES-The-box-that-GIVES-Charity-Orangewood-Childrens-foundation-/300818812017?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item460a32cc71
neufuse Veteran Posted November 18, 2012 Veteran Share Posted November 18, 2012 Is this one of those "only in America" moments? This sort of snack/processed cakes are sold here in the sweets/candy section of the death aisle (sweets + fried + salts). A quick look at the ingredients should suffice. you might want to look up what a candy is and what a cake is... they are two completely different things... just because they share some ingredients doesn't make one the other in the USA a candy isle has only things like Snickers, M&M's, taffey, gum drops, etc etc.... then you have a "snack food" isle that is cookies, cakes, twinkies, etc... Southern Patriot
Is this one of those "only in America" moments? No, it's one of those "I know what the **** I'm talking about and you obviously don't" moments. This sort of snack/processed cakes are sold here in the sweets/candy section of the death aisle (sweets + fried + salts). A quick look at the ingredients should suffice. I said they weren't candies, not that they weren't sweets. They are a cream filled cake. Very different, in culinary terms, from a candy. They are sometimes sold on the same aisle here, but at least some of us know enough about cooking to know the difference in terminology.
Yorak
Wow, us Americans are absolutely retarded. Eat up, fatties. As if we are not already obese enough. Time for some changes, people. Spend your money on something worthwhile, like a gym membership or a dietary book.
Tuishimi
hold on to your twinkies and freeze them. wait a few years and you will make a killing selling them. Why bother freezing them! They have a shelf-life longer than the half-life of Bismuth-209.
