When the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) this week began taking military action in the Gaza strip against Hamas (as the IDF announced on Twitter), Anonymous declared its own war as part of #OpIsrael. Among the casualties are thousands of email addresses and passwords, hundreds of Israeli Web sites, government-owned as well as privately owned pages, as well as databases belonging toBank Jerusalem and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The thing is, anyone can take on the Anonymous name (in this case, Hamas sympathisers), and then Anonymous sheep will follow. Next week we will have "Anonymous" (Israel sympathisers) taking down Hamas targets while the first group are simultaneously still taking down Israeli ones. Luckily it is only the internet.

Also I can't seem to find any actual threat made by Israel to cut off the internet in Gaza or actually doing so. It seems that the puppetmaster who started this one made this up and then Anon launched their attacks anyway even though Israel didn't actually do it.

It seems that they compromised only a handful of shared webhosts and then go on to claim each domain under the same server.

They're a law onto themselves, fighting for their own agenda and claiming it's 'For The People'

Anonymous just thinks they are bad. Just wait until the IDF gets a hold of them.
