It absolutely must be able to turn OFF auto correct or auto suggest or whatever that turkey is called. The sms app on s3 is damn near unusable.

Of course, I just may not be smart enough for my smart phone... but I have yet to find a way to turn it off...

Go SMS is what I use, but you can turn off auto correct under the Language and Input settings of your phone.

BTW "auto correct or auto suggest" is a Android keyboard feature, not a SMS feature. Changing your SMS app wont do anything. And you can turn it off....
