After a long week of work, Frank grabs his clubs and heads to the golf course for some needed R&R. After a few holes Frank catches up to a man and a gorilla standing on the par 5. Frank finds this odd, but strolls up and sets his ball up to tee off.

The man with the gorilla looks at Frank and says ?Well hi there friend, my name is Steve and this here is JoJo, the best golfer in the world.? Frank can?t help it and bursts out laughing. ?Who in the world has ever heard of a golfing gorilla? That is the most absurd thing I?ve ever heard.? Steve lets slip a wry smile and says, ?Well friend, I?m a betting man. I bet JoJo can out golf you for the rest of the course, say 500 dollars?? Frank can?t believe his luck, sure that he can easily beat a gorilla at a game of golf. ?It?s a bet!? And the two men shake on it.

?JoJo likes to go first, if that?s okay with you friend?? Asked Steve. Frank nodded. JoJo walks over to his bag of clubs, mangles around and eventually pulls out a putter. Frank starts chuckling to himself thinking he just made some easy money. ?How long is this hole, about 500 yards?? asked Steve. Frank nodded in agreement. JoJo pranced around his ball for a while, and started scratching his back with the putter. By now Frank was doing all he could to stop from laughing.

JoJo finally focused on his ball, took the putter in his one meaty hand and smacked the ball as hard as he could, landing just next to the hole on the green. Frank?s face turned white. ?Told you JoJo was good! 499 yard hit I?d say.? said Steve.

Frank was shaking with nerves now. He stepped up and hit his ball less than a quarter way to the green. ?Seems JoJo got you nervous friend, tell you what. If you want you can give me 250 now and we will call the bet square.? Frank knew he?d never be able to hit as far as JoJo and gave Steve the money.

?Care to finish the game friend?? Frank, already dejected about losing 250 dollars, figured at least he could say he played with the world?s greatest golfer and agreed to finish. Frank managed to sink his ball in 5 more hits, one over par. JoJo stepped up to the green, determination written on his simian face, the slightest tap ready to sink the ball in the hole.

He grabbed the putter out of his golf bag, took it in his meaty hand, and whacked the ball 499 yards.

    • Normally, I admit when a title is clickbait (unfortunately, it's become somewhat necessary in AI-dominated news sections today), but in this case, all supported versions is implied and doesn't need to be spelled out in the title. Of course, I'm covering a Patch Tuesday update but that is only available to supported Windows SKUs. All our coverage relates to supported Windows software and SKUs only unless we expressly state that it's "unsupported", "unofficial", or "third-party". I'm sorry, but supported/official SKUs don't need to be spelled out as such in every Neowin headline.
    • ALL versions or ALL SUPPORTED versions? Neowin does it again.
    • But the reality is it will work for people's needs, and they don't care about the technology that makes it. Clearly not everyone's needs, but that low end space where personal laptops were only used to type emails, watch content and browse websites, but they didn't want to do that on a small screen device. Heck, writing that out I can now see the connection and reason it'll do so well. Apple is about experience. If the experience is bad, they don't release it. Low end Windows laptop manufacturers up until this point have not taken that into consideration ever before, so slow laggy usage with brittle slimey plastic shells were common. I hope that the low end space at least creates better physical products that last a bit longer, and if Microsoft get their act together, they could also have a solid OS on such low end hardware that would actually make the experience work for what the hardware was intended for. The fact that the CPU is a "cellphone", sorry mobile phone processor is irrelevant. It's about the experience, and so far, that sounds quite solid.
    • Hello, Bonjour is Apple's implementation of a multicast-DNS service, which allows devices running Apple's software and/or hardware to find each other on your local network.  I believe the Windows version was last updated around 2010. If you do not need it, you can stop and disable the Bonjour service in the Services Control Manager (filename: SERVICES.MSC).  Once you have done that, the operating system will no longer attempt to load the service.
