Help with the Android SDK and MIUI

Hey Neowin^^

I need a little help because I want to play around with the quite popular Android ROM called MIUI though I found myself not really liking Android phones for my personal use all that much and that's why I want to do it over the official Android SDK which is a bit troublesome :/ And well I managed to set up the SDK just fine and the generic Android 4.2 Emulator boots though to get MIUI running now I need a system.img of it which is basically nowhere to be found on the internet as all MIUI ROMs are in Update.zip format >.<

So all I need now is either a method to convert .zip ROMS to system.img ROMs or a MIUI system.img and I wondered if anyone here could provide some help with that^^

Oh and thinking about it if anyone on Neowin has a Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus One or Nexus S with a MIUI ROM installed I would be very grateful if that person could maybe make a Nandroid backup of it as this would produce a system.img aswell and these are the only phones the SDK supports >.<

I know the last part may be a big thing to ask for but I figured asking can't hurt^^
