matt74441
Delete it and then reboot. See what happens.
sanctified Veteran Posted November 3, 2003 Veteran Share Posted November 3, 2003 yeah, but xp is a stable os, so we can take some risks, removinf the folder from a longhorn setup will put your machine into a serious danger
Count Spatula
Tweaking it to the limit.. wouldn't that also mean blindly doing things in wondering what it might do? It's an alpha OS on a different partition/hard drive, go wild! Worse comes to worst, you delete the partition and try again ;)
isus
if you installed longhorn, you can reinstall. back up your shiat, delete it, and see what happens.
xntx
as I know, i386 folder contains installer files, and if you delte it the only thing what could happen, is that longhorn will request the longhorn CD every time new hardware is found :) anyway, you can RENAME it first (not delete, why delete?) and look what happens, if all goes ok, you can delete it now :)
