Did anyone else find the "European" live conference a tad painful to watch? It was pretty much full of Japanese men who either spoke hard-to-understand English or didn't actually speak English at all.

Actually their stance on DLC (has been, and still is) is that they don't want to create content that could be put in the final game on time, but purposefully hold it back and charge it as DLC.

I skipped around a bunch and I didnt see anything about the DLC for SMB U. was a release date given?

cant wait for Donkey Kong. i was really hoping they'd re-release DKC from SNES on the 3DS, but this'll suffice

It was around the 12:30 mark in the video. And no, they just said 'this year'.
