Over the past few days the instant upload folder in 'gallery' isnt updating, it saying the folder is empty, but photos are uploading and appearing in the instant upload folder in g+ so im guessing its working but for some reason the folder on my phone isnt updating...

Can anyone help?

EDIT: on a side note the instant upload folder on my nexus 7 isnt syncing either...

you don't say what you have checked in troubleshooting so i could be wasting time here. you need to re-check the setting on all devices from the desktop and both android devices and be sure instant upload is on. then i would uninstall G+ on one of the devices re-check the upload and see if that fixes it on that device if so rinse lather repeat.

ive checked the settings i can find about instant upload and the last time photos where snyced was today when i did a manual sync, i'll try uninstalling g+ and reinstalling in abit

just uninstall g+ and reinstalled and still now joy :(

EDIT: the instant upload folder on G+ on the website is showing images but its just not syncing to the mobile devices :/

i was in my application folder this afternoon and noticed a new icon for google settings. one of the options was G+ and i noticed that there is a setting...well lots of settings a list of settings but one for not uploading unless being charged was checked on mine. that made it not instant upload... but that could be your problem. i read where you said you checked the settings. that one may have gotten by you. i had never seen/noticed it before.
