Fable III Free on Xbox Marketplace

I went about searching how to get the Halo 3 and Assassins Creed downloads that are no free for Gold Members and found out that Fable 3 is also free (possibly depending on region!)

The trick seems to be when it asks you to pay, choose Microsoft Points then it will show up as free then, download away! (Y)

(Doesn't seem to work for Halo 3 though which should be free anyways for Gold Members!? :ermm:)

Works in the UK. Played it on my mates Xbox last night. Pretty boring game IMO :/

Worked for me but haven't had time to continue playing (I already own a physical copy).

I have a 14 day Gold trial, so If I activate it over half way through July I should be able to get the 2 games in July, Halo 3 and ACII, and whatever 2 games come in August :D :woot: :rofl:

Anyone see a flaw in that plan? Do you have to have a Gold membership to play the games or are they yours to play regardless of your subscriptions status?
