Leopard Seal
Starting last night Facebook is sending me to their mobile pages when I use my Surface RT running 8.1 Preview. There is not option or link to load the full site. Very annoying. WPCentral's forum has some chatter about it too. http://forums.wpcentral.com/microsoft-surface-windows-rt/244133-facebook-mobile-ie.html
Dot Matrix
I posted about this last night, when I first noticed it. HIGHLY annoying. https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1180355-how-do-i-escape-the-facebook-mobile-site/#entry595995629
Leopard Seal
Here's a workaround. Go to Facebook in the desktop browser and set it to compatibility mode. This will fix it for both the metro and desktop browser, but you'll get a stupid message warning you to "upgrade" your browser.
Torolol
well, RT are closer to 'mobile' than desktop ...
Atomic Wanderer Chicken
I am using Windows 8 (RT) on my Asus Vivotab RT and it goes to the desktop version of facebook. It must be something to do with Windows 8.
incendy
it is because of ie11, very few sites have the agent string for it set yet.
Dot Matrix
it is because of ie11, very few sites have the agent string for it set yet. I don't think it's that. The full site was working just fine up unitl a few days ago. Now Facebook thinks I have an outdated browser.
