Jesse Eisenberg to guest on "Modern Family"

Jesse Eisenberg and Jane Krakowski will guest star on Modern Family this season.

 

The two will appear in the same episode of the Emmy-winning sitcom, titled 'Under Pressure', along with John Benjamin Hickey.

 

Social Network actor Eisenberg will play Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam's (Eric Stonestreet) neighbour Asher, and 30 Rock's Krakowski is to portray a mean mother at Manny's (Rico Rodriguez) school.

 

Tony Award winner and The Big C star Hickey will act as a therapist to one of the Dunphys.

 

Modern Family may also be in line for a spinoff. The ABC comedy, which recently won a fourth consecutive best series Emmy win, is apparently in the early stages of developing ideas for the offshoot.

 

Modern Family airs Wednesday nights on ABC.
