Time for this poll again. Which will be your main operating system for 2014?

For me it's Mac OS X 10.9 after switching back to a Mac in July.

I'm completely entrenched in the Microsoft ecosystem, so 8.1 is an obvious choice for me. But I'm constantly switching between Mac and Windows.

For now I've selected OS X 10.6. But at some point this year I'll probably get a new machine, so that will likely come with 10.9 installed.

Windows 7 for me. Smartphone/Tablet UI's will never plague my desktop.

Still Windows 7. I haven't even bothered to upgrade even after I've bought a new system.

No need for little gain. I'll leave the large icons and touch on my mobile devices for now.

Why must haters insist on posting flame bait posts like this instead of just saying "Will keep using windows 7" or "don't like 8 so I'll stick with 7 for now". I don't get it.

Just posts what you use, don't flame or flame bait other OS', it's not what the thread is about, you can do that in the other threads.

As for me, Windows 8.1 until 8.2 or 9 is out.

I voted Windows 8.1 as that is what I am using right now although I am finding myself working in Debian more and more. I am not a user of the new Modern apps so a lot of the new things in Windows 8 doesn't really do anything for me although I do like the new Explorer features. I have found that simple Debian install does everything I need these days and I love how minimal I can keep things. Just my browser, media player and IDE is all I really use these days :)

It's not really a flame, since 2014 isn't here yet and never know MS might release a better OS. An if they do that in 2014, i'll be upgrading.
