APPL at its game again. I for one hope they don't succeed and screw their loyal base. But again such is their base (read blind), that they might succeed.

In a world where Apple acknowledges and seems concerned by how many more Android devices are being sold compared to the iPhone, this makes no sense.

It sort of makes sense, if you're an imbecile...

 

As they're not selling as many units, they're putting the price up so that it offsets the loss from reduced sales!
