Nintendo 3DS Homebrew Channel Released

Smealum has released his Ninjax (formerly SSSpwn) exploit that works on every Nintendo 3DS released to date, including the "New 3DS" which is only released in Japan and Australia at present I believe.

To take advantage of the exploit you need the game Cubic Ninja, which is now rather expensive in Europe if you manage to find a copy. If your from the US, Amazon.com currently has Cubic Ninja for a reasonable price. (Just remember the 3DS is region locked though)

This exploit does not allow piracy, its a usermode exploit that does not give you access to the kernel. Perfect for simply allowing homebrew (Y)

 

Personally i'm quite excited about this, i've enjoyed a lot of homebrew apps and games on consoles over the years, especially on the Xbox Classic and PSP. The Wii also had a very strong homebrew scene, so i'm very interested to see what might happen with 3DS now.
