+Warwagon MVC Posted March 31, 2015 MVC Share Posted March 31, 2015 Amazon Dash How it works Dash Button is simple to set up. Use the Amazon app on your smartphone to easily connect to your home Wi-Fi network and select the product you want to reorder with Dash Button. Once connected, a single press automatically places your order. Amazon sends an order alert to your phone, so it's easy to cancel if you change your mind. Unless you elect otherwise, Dash Button responds only to your first press until your order is delivered. https://www.amazon.com/oc/dash-button?reqInv=1 Frick'n Genius! neufuse Veteran Posted March 31, 2015 Veteran Share Posted March 31, 2015 and nothing would be better then blind one button ordering... you have no idea what you ordered or paid! until you look.... example: Dreft from amazon costs $25 a jug... same detergent and size at walmart here is $10! +E.Worm Jimmy 1 Share

neufuse Veteran Posted March 31, 2015 Veteran Share Posted March 31, 2015 if they place these orders into prime pantry then you are just wasting money... they not only charge you $99 a year for prime... but then $5.99 a shipment for prime pantry ONTOP of prime! and you aren't even guaranteed 2 days shipping.. it could take 5 or they could hold it until you have more to fill in the box... most of the items they list for it are now "prime pantry" items.... Except now, it works for just prime to for any item you want I think. the level of laziness has reached a new height There are a few things I order a lot off amazon. It would be great to be able to just push a button and have another one ordered.

MikeChipshop Member Posted March 31, 2015 Member Share Posted March 31, 2015 Saw OP, saw title, looked at page, grinned at seeing the first April fools of the year... Read through inner pages, looked at what it's actually capable of... i want this not to be a fool! If it's real, good timing on amazons part because the nature of this means it'll get extra press coverage "Is it or isn't?". Well played. +Warwagon 1 Share
dr_crabman
The only downside I can see, is a child getting a hold of this and pushing the ###### out of the button. The button doesn't work anymore until the first order has been delivered. I still don't know what to think of this, feels weird and unnecessary since it's already so easy to order stuff online. But I guess if you don't care about not comparing prices....

MikeChipshop Member Posted March 31, 2015 Member Share Posted March 31, 2015 The only downside I can see, is a child getting a hold of this and pushing the ###### out of the button. Apparently only listens to the first press until goods are delivered. So you'd be good for a few days Edit: Refresh page before answering. Oh Cool, perfect. I could use about 4 of these. That's why i hope it's real in the end. I'd have at least three on the go. One next to the coffee machine, one next to the nappy cupboard and one next to the washing machine. BOOM job done. I spend so much time on the computer, why would I need this? I already browse amazon's site regularly... just two clicks and i have an order based off an older order... seems more like this is for ultra lazy people that just sit around all day and never use a computer +E.Worm Jimmy 1 Share
