dragon2611 Posted April 19, 2015 Share Posted April 19, 2015 Lumia 735 here, Phone crashes on entering SIM pin (Workaround in one of the previous posts works) Some apps unstable, particularly the windows feedback up ironically enough Touch screen sometimes fails to respond requiring a reboot to get it going again. Selecting an email notification in the notification center opens up outlook calendar instead of outlook email. I know it's a Beta but some of the bugs are inexcusable, e.g the SIM pin one which is readily reproducible and easy to test for. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fordcom Posted April 19, 2015 Share Posted April 19, 2015 I made my mind not to use windows 10 for phone after the first preview. After the second preview was release, there were reports of getting gdr2 which i witness a friends L635 updated to 8.1 update 2. Unlucky for me, i was taken straight to window 10 which is a pain in the ass when using it. There are some apps+data on the phone if i revert back to 8.1 i'll loose it forever. These are the issues I'm battling it now. -The hardware buttons (power + volume) sometimes seizes to work unless the phone is soft reset. -Lags a lot -Slow to responds to command -Volume doesn't work when the screen is off -cant turn off data which is a known issue -Some apps and games dont work even though i have re downloaded several times -Screen brightness is not consistence even though is set to medium brightness. -Project spartan is jet usable so i barely launch it. Still prefer ie -Phone sometimes for restart itself for no reason -battery life is better than the first build These are the few i can remember for now And oh, I have the folder icons used in the new file explorer. BernardWBL Posted April 19, 2015 Share Posted April 19, 2015 You can not change Glance Settings. Call Cortana in the car feature does not work. It say you have reached a number that is not active. Even though it is the same number that works on 8.1 On my 830 Cortana is not even there anymore since the last build. I really like what they have done with Outlook Mail though. Initially it not get started simply shows only 6%. Then have changed the time zone to pacific later get started. Hardly taken more then 2 1/2 hours. After rebooted the device. Main issues are.... Device gets too slow. Not showing Switch Down For Power Off. Photos gets very slow for opening. Bottom three home icons not appearing after once hidden. Mobile Data couldn't be added in notifications list. All apps get delayed to open. After the above issues I have downgraded to WP 8.1 GDR 2 through a Nokia Care. Bottom three icons start+home+search hidden can't appears when swipe top. There was two feedbacks shown. All will be correct in final version. Issues found so far - Goodbye message is left aligned - Back button doesn't close the folders opened - Back button doesn't navigate to Main screen after right swipe to list all apps - Double tap to wake doesn't work. - Double press of power button behaves like power off - Unable to add more than two accounts in Outlook Mail - Was unable to turn off data connection after the first install. Had to hard reset device to disable data - Calendar app crashes every time when trying to open but shows the details of calendar app in the lock screen - Unable to resize the image for background - Unable to set custom ringtone - Pressing back button doesn't close the apps. Instead keeps running in background. Have to press and hold the back button to force close - Photos app live tile doesn't work. Always shows one pic. After phone restart the image changes - Apps put in a folder, Name is overlapping on the icon. - Contacts synced from live account but still doesn't show name for incoming call from a saved contact. - Touch is non responsive when device connected to power source (intermittent issue) - Proximity Sensor switches on every time the screen is locked (weird issue have never seen this happen before. Not sure if anyone else is also seeing this!!) - Doesnt show Switch down for poweroff - Unable to add new keyboards. Keeps showing as preparing to download but doesn't download - Photos added to a contact is only shown in the first half of the screen.
