I couldn't find a thread about the OnePlus 2 so I thought I'd make one! let's discuss what we could expect to see from the upcoming OnePlus 2, are you getting one?finally do you have the OnePlus 1? if so what do you think of it?

(I might make a poll for fun just to gather statistics and how much neowinians are interested in the OnePlus 2)

Personally, i've been an iPhone user.. but I am honestly bored of iOS and iPhones, not to mention their lack of customising and locked down system. I'm a minimalist, the only way I could actually clean up my iphone was to put things in folders or hide them. After watching Google I/O 2015 I am convinced that I finally want an Android phone, I then sold my iPhone 6 Plus & after several days of research, I have come to the conclusion that waiting for the OnePlus 2 is the best option for me to get one the the best and affordable Android phone.

If the price is as good as the One, I'll almost certainly be getting the Two to replace my Nexus 5. I almost replaced it with the One before - ordered one during the October frenzy, but cancelled later - but I was still happy with the Nexus 5 at the time. Lollipop's changed things slightly; mine's frozen and crashed so many times since I updated, although things have improved with the recent minor updates.

Probably not. IMO, the 1+1 was over hyped, and under-delivered. I really hope Google announces a N5 2015.

  • 3 months later...

I wish it was easier to get an invite!  The charging port is half broken on my Lumia 1020 and I'm giving in and going back to Android (had Galaxy Nexus 2 years ago).

I'm currently tossing up between a Oneplus 2 and a Moto X Play.  Oneplus 2 has the better processor and ram, and dark theme in stock os.. Moto X Play seems to have better camera, slightly bigger battery.

If i didn't already own a OnePlus One I would have probably got a OnePlus Two, however it's a very minor upgrade and in some ways the OnePlus One is actually better than the OnePlus Two.

The One has better battery life, which appeals to me more than a slightly faster processor and more ram (3gb is more than enough!)

In addition the One also has NFC, where as the OnePlus Two doesn't. With Android Pay apparently launching here in the UK before the end of the year that is something I think is suddenly going to become a lot more important to have.

I would however love to be able to unlock the phone with my finger print, which is a nice plus for the OnePlus Two.

I'd be happy with either of the phones to be honest, the One is still perfectly fine and i hope to get another 2+ years out of it yet.
