I laugh at this 'cause if I need a 6' power cord to the PSU on the tower, I'd likely need a similar cord for the monitors, speakers, printer and whatnot., which all come with a 3' cord. So, for under $7, I could get a power strip with a 3' cord and six outlets and cut the difference in at least half... in both the length of the extension cord and dollars from my wallet.

Yeah, imagine that.

 

But in all fairness, placed like Best Buy do have redeeming qualities, though this isn't one of them. By that I mean that if I need something "NOW", and they have it, I might end up saving a bit of money or at least break even.... Still, one has to WTF this.
