What is DC:PRO?

DC:PRO is a file-sharing program for the Direct Connect Hubs and dc protocol.

Direct Connect allows you to share files and chat with your friends over the Internet without any restrictions. The client is free of advertisements and has a user friendly interface and a few of the main features are:

* Segmented Downloading: Download simultaneously the same files from many users;

* Clean and neat user-friendly interface;

* Multi-hub connections;

* Text chat with colors and images (like in mIRC, well not really, mIRC doesn't support images);

* Fast threaded transfers;

* Total user control of the files in queue;

* Open windows in background (like in Opera Browser);

* Automatic detection and blocking of Share Fakers;

* Send users files like ICQ/MSN;

* Support Client emulation;

* Banwidth manager: With anti-leeching by using ratios;

* Personal Away messages that can be easily switched;

* Full support in Smiley's

Coming soon is version 0.2.4.0 which will have magnet support and TTH hashing. At the moment DC:PRO does not produce TTH hashes for files but can use them from other users who use a hashing client (DC++).
