He has appointed African-Americans to some very senior positions. More than any other President, as far as I know

What's the point of this, honestly?

Master Shake thinks Bush is a racist, as has been made abundantly clear the past few days, and if you agree with that opinion, yay on you. If you disagree, or the results of this startlingly brilliant poll turn out contrary to what he wants, everyone will be ignorant and blinded by the media, or racist themselves.

What's sad is that already the comments from some nobody rapper is starting to sway opinions in this area.

I don't think so. He is too receptive to illegal immigration and I don't think he's done anything against minority groups. He may do things preferable to different socio-economic classes, but not races.

No one, in the history of this nation has done more to appoint minorities in positions of leadership, positions of prominence. One idiot from Hollywood mouths off and suddenly this is credible?

Black folks were left behind...funny that people are too quick to forget the it was Bush who urged the Louisiana governor to evacuate. It's just a shame she left hundreds of school buses sitting and didn't utilize them as the evacuation plan states. Google Cache of CNN

When will folks realize that just because someone is an entertainer and has a platform to speak from, they don't necessarily have a clue about what they're speaking of.

not conciously. More like ignorant. It's not just a race thing. Poverty is another thing he is ignorant about. He's always had people take the fall, cover up, pay for things, and he hasn't exactly lived a tough life. extremely sheltered and ignorant as a result.

I am curious as to how there are so many "yes" votes, but there is no support or reasoning why?

ahh it must be kids that just don't like Bush so much that they want to vote against him whenever they can.

Kanye West is an idiot by the way and he did nothing to help unite the country to help the poor victims of New Orleans by what he said. Celebrities need to shut the F*** up when it comes to anything besides their job of entertaining.

How can someone be ignorant about poverty? It's not like it's some double secret information. Everything else you said describes pretty much every politician/president the US has ever had.

Let's not pin this on Mr. West. People have thought Bush was racist for a long long time bofore Mr. West said anything. He just said what everyone was thinking...

Sooo, when you become a celebrity, it voids your 1st amendment right? Just so I am clear on this, if YOU were to become a celebrity, you would suppress your feelings because they arent written on a script? Just asking, just asking...

I think what he probably means is that when a celebrity is hired/contracted to do a certain job, let's say like speaking at a televised/non partisan charity function, that they should stick to the script and do what they were brought there to do, not make wildly slanderous accusations that have no adherence to reality.

No, and there is absolutely no evidence that suggests otherwise...

There is no evidence to go either way. Some people might say, "He appointed sooo many blacks to the white house!" And? There is a tolken black guy in every movie people...:p
