what's wrong with the conditional forward button? I don't understand your dislike

The concept sounded nice, but it's really useless (and I like minimalism). It's also very slow on my netbook, for the button to show up (as if Firefox can get any slower). I'd rather the button be there (even if there is no page to go forward to). It just makes it easier.

now you have an understandable reason to not like it

i personally don't have any lag in the UI on my computer, though my computer is a lot more powerful then a netbook

an easy way to disable the conditional forward button is to go to customize and add a flexible space between the forward button and the address bar, it will make it just like it was before

But, you can just disable the option in Statiform itself :) My desktop runs it fine, but I like consistency amongst my computers.

oh cool, didn't realize that, haven't had a chance to check out much of the new version of stratiform yet

The toolbar icons don't change for me.

Running Aurora 11.0a2 (2012-01-31) with the toolbar buttons at the tab bar (IE9-like layout).

When buttons are placed in a glassed toolbar their icons are inverted, Stratiform respects this by not skinning them in this case.

@Soapy:

Thank you so much for this add-on. So many times I have found a skin with only one thing I like about it. But rather than have a couple of decent skins, you gave me the opportunity to put them all together in the way I like. Firefox needed something like this to separate it from the crowd. Thanks for your hard work and commitment to the project.

I know this isn't suppose to support Nightly, but can anyone else confirm 'Tabs' colour issues with the Soft7 theme?

That's related to some changes they have made to the -moz-border-image syntax. We have fixed it but haven't gotten an update out quite yet, I'll see about getting it out later tonight.

You're a hard worker (Y)

I can't get my icons to change no matter which set I choose. Is this most likely due to my add-ons or is it a known issue with Nightly 13?

Thanks.

I assume you have them on a glassed toolbar? We don't change the icons on glassed toolbars to keep it consistent with the default theme.

Now that it's no longer buggy, I am back to using it and loving the option to always put tabs in the title bar (my window is never maximized). The only thing that kind of annoys me is on the strata50 icons keep the circle around the back button. If it's not impossible, could you tell me how to fix it myself, or include it in a future update by any chance?

Hey guys,

This project isn't dead yet, here is an update :p Many months of work went into this and we didn't document every change so the changelog is a bit bland.

Changelog:

? Added / improved Firefox 14+ compatibility (compatible with Nightly at the time of this post)

? Improved toolbar button colouring behaviour

? Improved automatic tab and app button text inversion behaviour

? Selected tab colouring now also colours the add-on bar (screenshots are outdated in this regard)

? Completely redid the UI, now in Metro style with a different layout

? Added distance from top of window slider for tabs in titlebar option

? Added tab styled buttons exceptions option

? Added global presets

? Revamped Rubix toolbar button style

? Fixed various miscellaneous bugs

    • This is sadly what happens when a company tries to become political and focus on agendas outside gaming, the constant push of inclusivity and whatever the current thing was and box ticking, instead of simply focusing on what was a great game to many myself included, massive let down that a once great game company has ended up this way hopefully this will be a lesson to game devs from here on in to leave politics and agendas out of gaming
    • Prices for consumer electronic stink and will continue to stink for quite some time. If you're at all hesitant, just buy now because it's not getting better. (or buy used and save even more cash)
    • Microsoft raises Xbox console prices by up to $150, discontinues 2TB version by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Back in March, Sony increased PlayStation 5 prices, and now, it's Microsoft's turn. Today, the company announced a major price increase that will affect all of its Xbox consoles, and one storage option is being discontinued entirely. There is some time before the new prices go into effect. Starting on August 1, 2026, any Xbox Series X|S model with 512GB of storage will cost $100 more than now. The price of 1TB models will go up by $150 instead. At the same time, all 2TB models are being discontinued. "The entire consumer electronics industry is struggling with the current components crisis, but the effects are particularly hard on consoles," said the company. "Unlike phones, computers, speakers, and other consumer devices, consoles are typically not sold at a profit, but instead for less than they cost to make." As the hikes hit, Microsoft is beginning to offer more options to make its consoles more accessible to potential customers, including financing, buy now, pay later schemes, and refurbished options: Buy Now, Pay Later: We’ve made it easier for players to use Buy Now, Pay Later options on eligible XBOX hardware purchases through Microsoft Stores, making it possible to break up your payment into predictable short-term, interest-free installments. Interest-Free Financing: Players purchasing eligible XBOX hardware through Amazon can take advantage of 0% APR financing for up to 12 months, giving players more flexibility with lower monthly payments and more budgeting control. Previously Played Consoles: We are working with retail partners on new programs to provide previously played consoles at lower prices. Players who are ready to upgrade or no longer use their console will be able to trade it in with participating retail partners for cash or store credit. Those consoles will then be made available at lower prices for players. Certified Refurbished Consoles: XBOX Certified Refurbished Consoles are available at Microsoft Stores for up to US$100 off MSRP. Microsoft said that the rising cost of storage and memory prices is behind this decision, with costs going up by over 2.5 times since the last time it raised prices of its consoles. The company says these parts are expected to double in price by the fall of 2027.
