The first one was pretty good, and the second one started out good... but the rest? Meh. They all fall apart in the final acts, too.

I am glad I am not the only person who loves these films. I don't know why, maybe its Milla or something else but I love them! Can't wait!

I like them all but also feel that the movies arnt scary like 1 & 2 were. Alice needs to get back to fighting monsters, in a really tight, ripped red dress again. :)

The first one was very good.
The second one was very bad.
The third one was good.
The fourth one was okay.

If I remember correctly, in the last one, Alice was shoot with the cure for T-Virus right? So now, she is just a "normal" Alice, like she was in the first one.

I hope that 5 will be the end, because seriously, the story does not seem to know where it's going....

Begins takes us back to 1998 when it all started and before the events in first Resident Evil film. It stars Milla Jovovich as Alice, before she became a super-powered heroine alongside Sienna Guillory, who was confirmed last month to be reprising her role as Jill Valentine. For the first time in the series' history Alice will not be the main character. Instead Begins will follow Ms. Valentine as she finds herself in the midst of the major viral outbreak caused by Umbrella. Not enough for you?

There's a good chance that's a fake story as well :rofl:

Back to format, I might go and see this if it gets a wide release. It'd be a shame if it was Direct to DVD.

Who knows? :|

So Milla Jovovich took to Twitter today and shared some cool information about Resident Evil 5.

She tweets about the working title;

Quote

"I think its called RE: Retribution, but i have to ask paul 2 b sure."

She also tweets about filming in Japan for this one, saying;

Quote

"I pray 4 japan everyday and i can't wait 2 go there and shoot the nxt RE!"

She also talks about her hubbies kids and how he's watching how they play the game for inspiration and yes this is how she spells on Twitter;

Quote

jst 2 let the RE fans know, cause there's been a bunch of questions abt the nxt film, paul has kids that are proffessional players...so he's literally watching days of the most awesome RE players out there to get inspiration 4 the nxt installment of the franchise.

sigh... so it is a prequel... bah.

Can't Hollywood ever come up with a decent story with a beginning, middle and end??? Seems like they should at least scope out a story line for each franchise they try to make... and stick with a progression, then end the franchise gracefully, and move to fresh topics.

Heck, there are a tone of RE characters that they could follow on the journey, so it isn't like they have to weave in and out of the stories, pull things out of their arse to make a movie about, and bring prequels into play all the time.... bah.

RE the games... awesome. Movies... getting old. I'll still see it though.
