Games with Gold: Assassin's Creed Rogue and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon are now free

Two more games have just become free to Xbox Live Gold members, as Microsoft has pushed out the first wave of the February Games with Gold. As part of the offerings, Xbox Live Gold members can now grab Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon for Xbox One as well as Assassin's Creed Rogue for Xbox 360 for free.

The latter title is also part of Microsoft's backward compatibility program, meaning Xbox One players can also claim it and play the game natively on their system.

Here are the store links to claim the games directly:

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon (Xbox One)

Battle with swords and whips in this retro-style action game brought to you by game creator Koji Igarashi and Inti Creates! Play as Zangetsu, a demon slayer bearing a deep grudge, who must travel through perilous lands to defeat a powerful demon lurking in a dark castle. Zangetsu will meet fellow travelers along the way, who can join your journey as playable characters.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue (Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Amid the chaos and violence of the French and Indian War, Shay Patrick Cormac, a fearless young member of the Assassin brotherhood, will undergo a dark transformation that will shape the future of the brotherhood forever. As Shay, experience the slow transformation from Assassin to Assassin Hunter and use all your skills to take down those you once called brothers

There's still plenty of time to grab a copy of WRC 6 FIA World Rally Championship for the Xbox One from the January Games with Gold promotion as well. The rally title is set to be replaced by Super Bomberman R on February 16.

Also, keep in mind that only claimed Xbox 360 games will remain playable if the Gold subscription is discontinued, as claimed Xbox One games, on the other hand, are only accessible with an active subscription.
