Google offering Chromebook owners with 100GB of free Dropbox storage space for a year

Google tends to offer quite a few perks and goodies to Chromebook users from time to time. In the past, the company has offered free Disney+ subscription for three months to Chromebook users, discount on Stadia Premiere subscription, and more. This time around, Google has teamed up with Dropbox to offer Chromebook owners 100GB of free storage space on Dropbox for one year.

Google already offers 100GB of free storage space on Google Drive for Chromebook users. Considering that Dropbox is a fairly popular cloud storage and syncing service, this perk could come in handy for many. The offer is available for both new and existing Chromebooks users, though it might not be available across all the regions and Chromebook devices. Chromebook owners must also claim the offering by July 23, 2021.

To claim the storage space on Dropbox, you will have to sign in with your Dropbox account. Google also notes that at the end of 12 months, the 100GB of storage space will automatically be revoked from your account which could lead to your files not syncing if you go above your storage quota.

If you own a Chromebook, you can claim your free 100GB Dropbox storage space perk here.
