Today, Microsoft's annual 12 Days of Deals festive shopping extravaganza comes to an end. The company has offered all sorts of discounts and freebies over the last eleven days, and today, it's ending the promotion on a high note with significant savings on its Surface Pro 4.
Microsoft is offering up to $200 off select Surface Pro 4 models - in fact, every model except for the entry-level $899 Intel Core m3 variant has a discount. The Core i5 version with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD gets $150 off, reducing its price from $999 to $849; but every other Surface Pro 4 gets the full $200 savings.
But on top of that, Microsoft is also giving away a free Type Cover keyboard with those purchases. That includes not only the 'standard' Type Cover - which is available in a range of colors - but also the more 'premium' options, including the $159 Signature Type Cover with Alcantara fabric; the Type Cover with Fingerprint ID; and the Special Edition NFL Type Covers that launched a few months ago.
If you can get to a brick-and-mortar Microsoft Store today, you can also take advantage of the latest in-store-only 'Doorbuster' deal. If you're "one of the first customers in line" at a Microsoft Store, you'll get a free $50 gift card.
