It wasn't that long ago that folks were clamoring for a chance to purchase Snap Inc's $129 Spectacles. While the hype has since died down, a new pop-up shop has emerged on the sunny shores of Southern California, located in Snap's home turf of Venice.
If you aren't familiar with Snap or its Spectacle wearables, just prior to the holidays entering full swing, Snap Inc decided to release its first wearable to the world. But it didn't have a ritzy launch online, instead, it was offered in extremely limited quantities through a traveling vending machine. The Spectacles webpage captivated eager Snapchat users that were interested in purchasing the device, combing the site to try and find out where and when it would arrive next. The firm would eventually open a pop-up shop in New York, that only recently just closed its doors in February.
If you'd like to swing by the Venice location, the shop is located at 701 Ocean Front Walk in Venice and is open daily from 11 am to sunset. If you aren't located in close proximity to Venice, all is not lost. You can now order them directly from the website.
