HTC, the company which introduced the world to the Android OS, is expected to announce the world's first 64-bit octa-core smartphone at this year's IFA event on September 4th.
The new THL 5000 features a huge 5000mAh battery, along with a pretty decent array of other specs, including a 5-inch Full HD display, 32GB storage, 2GB RAM, 13MP cam and a 1.7GHz octa-core processor.
The much-rumoured 8-core BlackBerry based on an x64 architecture and originally slated for release in 2015 could come in September 2014, according to a source.
