Weekend PC Game Deals: Fresh bundles, Devolver goodies and more

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

Humble Choice May games

Humble delivered a triple dose of bundles this week, and starting things off is the new Choice selection. The subscription has eight games to grab for May, and despite the name, there is no choosing involved.

You get copies of Planet Zoo, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated, Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, Surviving the Aftermath, Spellcaster University, If Found…, Genesis Noir, and Embr by jumping in to the subscription.

Putting down $11.99 gets you the bundle with all eight games. Subscribers also gain access to the DRM-free Humble Games Collection via a separate launcher, plus a slowly deepening Humble Store discount. 5% of the membership cost goes towards charity.

Humble Game Over T1D Bundle

The other bundle Humble introduced was the Game Over Type 1 Diabetes collection, putting together a wide variety of hits to support charity. The 12 titles included in here do not have any tiers, just a $12 price tag to grab all of it.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, Observation, We Happy Few, Super Meat Boy and Super Meat Boy Forever, Stories Untold, Sam & Max Save the World, Pine, Gauntlet, Barlow's Dread Machine, RAD, and Saturday Morning RPG are the games included in here.

A new bundle filled with hit Kalypso games also went up just yesterday featuring a four-tier selection. It has games from the classic Commandos, Dungeons, Tropico, franchises and more with a $15 price tag for all 10 games.

You have about two weeks to decide if these bundles are for you, and you can use the split sliders to divide your money between the charities, Humble, and publishers.

Terraforming Mars free on EGS

Epic Games Store broke its double giveaway streak to offer a copy of Terraforming Mars this week, but it's back to doubles next week.

Terraforming Mars is the digital version of Jacob Fryxelius's boardgame with the same name. It offers you the chance to compete with other organizations to fix the issues of Mars like the toxic atmosphere, temperatures, and lack of liquid water to get more immigrants from Earth.

You have until Thursday, May 12, to get your copy activated on the Epic Games Store. What's coming next week are the Bethesda-published Arkane immersive sim Prey and the indie title Jotun: Valhalla Edition.

Free Events

Free weekend games

You have two games to choose from if you want to try out free events this weekend.

Firaxis Games' hugely popular 4X strategy game Civilization VI is up first, with the complete base game yours to experience through the weekend. Also, free-to-play this weekend is Assetto Corsa Competizione, as an automobile sim experience that comes with VR support as a bonus.

Big Deals

With several publisher promotions, including a big one from Devolver Digital, Rogue-like genre sales, and more, this weekend's big deals are quite nice and varied. Steam is dominating the specials this time too. Here's our highlights list as always:

DRM-free Goodness

Star Wars specials, post-apocalypse, Focus Interactive publisher promotions, and more are a part of GOG's latest DRM-free sales. See highlights below:

Keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals may vary depending on the region you're in.

And that's it for our pick of this weekend's PC game deals everyone, and hopefully, some of you have enough self-restraint not to break the bank adding new games to your ever-growing backlogs. Of course, there are an enormous number of other deals ready and waiting if you comb through the interwebs hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a great weekend.
