Amazon's ninth-gen Kindle Oasis is currently $100 off of its normal price

Amazon"s Kindle Oasis lineup is the most expensive of all the company"s e-readers, starting at $249.99. But right now, the company is offering a solid deal on the last-generation model at $100 off of the normal price.

The 8GB Wi-Fi only model is already sold out, and this is a closeout sale, so it"s probably not coming back. If it does, it will be $149.99. The 32GB Wi-Fi only model is still available for $179.99, and you can even get the 32GB cellular model for $249.99. That latter model includes free cellular connectivity, so you don"t need a data plan to use it.

While this model is part of the ninth-generation Kindle family, it"s actually the second generation in the Kindle Oasis line. The first one was introduced in 2016, with a thin body and a thicker "spine", making it easy to use one-handed. The second one increased the screen size and ditched the battery case, including a bigger battery in the spine. It"s also waterproof now, and it supports listening to audiobooks with Bluetooth headphones.

There is a newer model that"s available, and the only major new feature is that it can adjust the color temperature of the screen lighting.

If you want to check out the 32GB Wi-Fi only Kindle Oasis, you can find it here for $100 off. As mentioned previously, the LTE model is also $100 off, and you can find that here. Before you buy, make sure to check out our review and why we think it"s a perfect holiday gift.
