Diablo IV, Rematch, and more join Free Play Days on Xbox this weekend

The weekly Xbox Free Play Days promotion is carrying a bunch of high-profile games this time. Over the weekend, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard and Core players will be able to jump into Bassmaster Fishing, Diablo IV, Dungeons 3, PGA Tour 2K25, Rematch, and Trailmakers.

From the bunch, Diablo IV drops in as Blizzard"s latest entry in the massively popular action RPG series. After choosing a class like Barbarian, Sorcerer, or Necromancer, players get to jump into a violent world where they can fight the demonic forces of Lilith. This specific free-to-play event will last until September 30.

Next, Rematch lands from the developer behind Sifu. This is a soccer experience with no offsides or fouls, letting players use flashy moves and passes to score against opponents in any way they like.

At the same time, golfing fans can jump into PGA Tour 2K25 from 2K. Featuring big names like Tiger Woods, Max Homa, and Matt Fitzpatrick, the game lets players compete in major tournaments taken from the real world and have an entire career in the sport. If fishing is more your style, Bassmaster Fishing is here with its competitive fishing as well, offering licensed gear, real venues, and even multiplayer modes.

Closing out, Dungeons 3 is a real-time strategy dungeon-building hybrid that has you commanding evil forces to expand an underground lair and someday conquer the overworld. Lastly, the physics‑driven sandbox, Trailmakers, offers players the tools to build cars, planes, boats, or bizarre contraptions to use in its world.

Here are the announced games and the platforms they are available to play on:

  • Diablo IV (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
  • Rematch (Xbox Series X|S, PC)
  • Trailmakers (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC)
  • PGA Tour 2K25 (Xbox Series X|S)

This weekend"s Free Play Days promotions will end on Sunday, September 28, at 11:59 pm PT. Following this, expect another round of games to enter the program next week on October 2.
