Fallout: New Vegas gains Nvidia GeForce NOW support alongside Hogwarts Legacy and more

Nvidia"s cloud gaming platform GeForce NOW has just been updated with another wave of supported games. This one carries Warner Bros. titles, a fan-favorite popular RPG from Obsidian, and more.

Just as the new season of the Fallout Amazon series debuts, Nvidia has managed to bring support for Fallout: New Vegas for its cloud platform. The 2010-released game takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of the Mojave Desert following a nuclear war. Fans will appreciate that this is the same setting as the new season of the show too.

At the same time, GeForce NOW Ultimate members can now claim copies of Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 for free. An email with details on how to grab the games should now be rolling out.

This wave also marks the beginning of Warner Bros. Games" video game releases finally gaining GeForce NOW support. Kicking things off are Harry Potter universe titles, with Hogwarts Legacy and LEGO Harry Potter Collection entering the supported list this week, with probably more on the way.

Here are the latest games that received GeForce NOW support this week:

  • Pioner (New release on Steam, Dec. 16)
  • Fallout: New Vegas (Steam, Epic Games Store and Xbox, available on PC Game Pass)
  • For the King II (Steam)
  • Hogwarts Legacy (Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
  • LEGO Harry Potter Collection (Steam)

In addition to these games receiving cloud gaming support, Nvidia also announced that
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is now playable on the RTX 5080 servers for Ultimate members. The newly upgraded servers completed their rollout across all regions recently.

As always, keep in mind that, unlike subscription services like Game Pass or EA Play, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via Nvidia"s cloud servers. There is also a limit to how many hours subscribers can use the service per month.
