Google once again has a bit of fun with regards to its upcoming Pixel phones

Next week, Google will hold an event where it will reveal details about its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Prior to the launch, there have been plenty of rumors and leaks, but the company is taking it in good stride, poking fun at the situation through its Twitter account.

To the Reddit user who asked if the next phone will be “way bigger” — rest assured. We tested several phone sizes. Some were more successful than others.

In its most recent tweet, the firm calls out a Reddit user who asked if the upcoming phone is "way bigger", to which Google has responded with the tweet above posting "We tested several phone sizes. Some were more successful than others". Along with the response, the company included a drawing by Google hardware designer Jacqueline Bae and what looks like a concept of the upcoming Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL.

The Internet has speculated that there’s a “Super Selfie Mode” coming. Sorry Internet — no comment.

Tune in 10/9 to see what we’ve really been working on. #madebygoogle

This isn"t the first time Google has posted something comical in regards to the rumors and speculation about its upcoming phones. This is the third post for the week, with the previous ones focusing on a "Super Selfie Mode" and a "Mini Pixel". Luckily we won"t have to wait long to find out what Google really has in store, as the event will take place on October 9.
